The visuals for this game are fantastic. The developers took the time to offer great details on each of the different boats, planes that fly overhead, as well as the water that churns below you. The best strategy that we can recommend in battlegroup.io is to master the controls! While the game is visually appealing, maneuvering can be quite painful. Typically the aim feature occurs by just moving your mouse. However, in battlegroup.io, you have to hold down the right mouse button to pivot. Again, this is not a big deal, but you pivot very slowly. As such, it is not uncommon to blow up before you can even face your foe. So, practice these moves before you encounter the opposition. It will definitely help once you are head to head! 

The controls in battlegroup.io require both the keyboard and mouse in order to play. You can move around the board by using the w,a,s, and d keys. The left mouse button fires your weapons at the other battleships and planes in your vicinity. Lastly, the right mouse button pivots your ship to face these enemies. To be honest, for an .io game, the controls are a little awkward for effective gameplay. Therefore, we recommend that you practice, practice, practice!
