Egres.io

Egres.io is an atypical .io game found online. We call it atypical because most .io games have some element of competitive online gameplay against other players online. In Egres.io, however, you do not have this. Your goal is to get through each level by solving simple puzzles and avoiding "danger" areas. You do this by interacting with the triangles on the floor that serve as levers to activate other components around the board, much like obtaining a key to open a door in classic games like Doom or Wolfenstein 3D. Despite these basic mechanics for gameplay, there is a surprising amount of variety  between levels that really make you think about how to solve them. Egres.io was a bit of a surprise to us in that regard because once we started playing, we were not expecting much (to be perfectly honest...). With that being said, we highly recommend that you try a few rounds of puzzle solving!

There are a few egres.io strategies that we recommend to get through the levels of the game. The first is to avoid the pink areas, which will kill you instantly. It's kind of like the walls in operation. Fortunately, most rounds have small areas of pink, but there are some rounds where you have to navigate your character through a maze of pink without touching. Show caution! The other basic egres.io strategy is to map out your moves before you play the round. A little visualization goes a long way to get you quickly through each round. Try it out!

All of the egres.io controls are done with the mouse. As such, this .io game should be compatible with any device you plan to play on. There are a few game controls to implement. Keep in mind that your ball is that mouse cursor. You have to hover on the circles and avoid the red areas by moving your mouse around. You will also do this when passing through gates to the next round. Simply hover over them and you will pass through. The final egres.io control involves interacting with the triangles, which is done by clicking the left mouse button. Have fun!
