Glor.io

Glor.io is a fun and unique survival style .io game to play online. As with most .io games, we recommend play on a desktop since most of the game involves use of the keyboard and mouse. There is not a mobile version of this game that we know of and playing on the laptop may give a lackluster experience simply because there is no free standing mouse. With all that said, glor.io is glorious. No kidding. This game took the basic concept that was first made in moomoo.io and made it better. If you have ever played moomoo.io or starve.io, you understand the basic moves of this game. If not, essentially, your goal is to survive by collecting resources, building a defense, and surviving against wild animals and the other players roaming the countryside.

Glor.io, however, brought a new element to the game that totally enhanced the experience, and that feature is spawning help. That's right. In other moomoo.io style games, you are always on your own (or you can occasionally team up with someone). This game allows you to find food and create help in the form of peasants, mercenaries, and guards. It makes gameplay that much more enjoyable simply because it allows you to collect resources faster and defend yourself a little easier. With all that said, we highly recommend glor.io the next time you are looking for a new .io game adventure!

There are a few glor.io strategies that we recommend if you want to survive for any length of time in the game. The first strategy is to find food! If you can find a fruit bush to hack at, awesome, but we have yet to actually find one during the game. However, in lieu of fruit bushes, we recommend chasing down a few pigs and chickens to build up your food supply. The reason for this is that you can buy mercenaries with food! They are glorious to have around because they will defend and fight on your behalf. Also, they will harvest whatever you begin harvesting. There are other units you can spawn (peasant, guard). Each serve their own purpose, but the mercenary does both of their tasks for you. Again, get mercs as fast as you can.

The next strategy is to begin construction of a fort as soon as you have a few mercenaries to help. Preferably, you will build this structure around a tree. Ideally, you can build it around a tree and rock. Then, your units can mine in peace while you build a larger settlement. Lastly, save up enough to build a life stone. Therefore, if you die, you will respawn in proximity to it (and all your hard work) rather than fresh in the wilderness. Consider these tactics the next time you venture out to play glor.io!

The glor.io controls are pretty standard controls as far as .io games go. Movement comes with either the arrow keys or the w,a,s, and d keys. Hack at resources and enemies with the left mouse button. Again, these are standard controls found in most .io games. Hence, you are familiar with them, you will fare just fine in glor.io. Best of luck!
