Hexagor.io is a strategy type .io game found online where your goal is to grow your territory out and conquer other players. One of the .io games to pioneer the grow and conquer game type was Splix.io. Hexagor.io is loosely base off of that, but it has some key features that make it very hard for you to call it a copy cat of Splix.io.
There are a few key differences in Hexagor.io that make it not only unique in that strategy .io game genre but also stand out from the rest. The first key feature that makes it shine is that there is not constant gameplay. It is not turn based either, but there is a progression element of your tiles that slow down the gameplay and allow you to develop a plan of attack against your foes. Now, this does not mean you can take your time because the threat is still constant. However, it is a welcome change in .io games.
Another key feature that sets it apart from splix.io style games is that you can build out troops and grow your territory with individual tiles in mind. With the other games in this style, they are typically more simplistic, trying to just grab land and knock out your opponents. Again, Hexagor.io does not do that. In all, this addictive .io game does not disappoint and will keep you engaged for hours of gaming!
Attack - You main goal is to attack adjacent hexagons. This is done by essentially splitting your army between tiles. Each time you move over, you take half of your army. Attacking tiles is affected by a few factors. For example, if the tile you attack has a higher number than your tile, you will lose. Tile piece types like mountains, forest, and towers also affect the outcome of each fight.
Defend - When a hexagon is under attack, click on the tile to send troops to it to defend against attackers.
Towers - These special tiles can be build once you have conquered at least 16 tiles and provides additional defense to the tiles around them. They also enable you to use the build Conquest feature.
Conquest - This feature, once enabled, also you to conquer four tiles in a direction at a time versus one at a time, as long as there are no enemy defensive towers or mountain. Obtaining this feature is vital to expansion!
