Since the gameplay consists of matching animals on a massive scale, just click and hold the left mouse button on the animal you want to move and slide it in the direction you wish to move it. Additionally, since the maps are massive, holding down the right mouse button and sliding in the direction you want to move, it will shift your position on the map.
