The best bist.io strategy is to familiarize yourself with the controls before engaging any other tanks. Like most tank games, bist.io has the annoying independent turret feature. This makes your weapon move separately from your wheels. While cool that they can do this, it is a bother for gameplay. We found it is easier to master you have a free mouse versus a pad on your laptop (pro tip lol). Other than that, we also recommend that when engaging tanks, take advantage of the stones that make up the map, Although you can ultimately fire through those barriers, they do provide great cover and obstacles against foes that may be stronger than you!
Bist.io Controls
The bist.io controls are a little tricky to master (curse you 'realistic' tank maneuvering) , but with some practice it gets easier. It does use a combination of both the keyboard and mouse. You can move with either the arrow or w,a,s, and d keys. The mouse aims and shoots your weapon by moving the mouse pointer and firing with the left mouse button. In our experience, the w,a,s and d keys work slightly better than the arrow keys because of how the mouse works. Try it out for a few rounds before you really get into battle.
